Amit Goyal heads India Business for edX - world's largest open-source free learning platform founded by MIT & Harvard University. edX is a not for profit organisation with a mission to provide free online access to high quality education for everyone.

Amit holds a MBA from Oxford Brookes University-Oxford. He has managed various executive roles in building successful Telco and Ed-Tech product across UK, Europe and India. Amit is a firm believer of frugal innovation and his profile includes projects that attained significant limelight and disrupted the markets such as Tab based learning solutions for Test Prep, K12 and Higher-Ed while heading Education Solutions business for Samsung India. He is also credited for launching the cheapest Tablet PC of the world 'Aakash' with Government of India. He had also founded an E-Learning company in UK which was later acquired by a VC group.
