Dr. A. ASHOK, IAS, Commissioner of Intermediate Education & Secretary, Telangana State Board of Intermediate, Telangana State is a MBBS and completed his MD in Social Preventive Medicine & Public Health from the Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad. Dr Ashok has worked as additional Project Director in APER Project (Health), a World Bank Assisted Project, as Deputy Commissioner, Prohibition & Excise, Hyderabad, as Managing Director, A.P. Foods, Hyderabad and has won many national and international awards for his achievements in Quality & Higher production.

Some of the awards that Dr Ashok has received includes International Achievers Award at Dubai, Citizens Integration Peace Society New Delhi award, Indian Economic Development & Research Association New Delhi awarded and Hong Kong Foundation International Award by Tagore Hariprasad Institute, Hyderabad for the services rendered as Commissioner (FAC) for Welfare of Disabled & Senior Citizens to name a few.
