As COO at Centum Learning Limited Ms. Prasad heads the Professional Education & Training vertical and Process Management Group.
Her contribution in establishing the professional education & training arm in Centum Learning would leave an indelible mark in the history of the organization, since she conceptualized and implemented multiple initiatives, aimed at helping thousands of youth lead successful lives and empowering underserved communities.
She played a pioneering role in reforming higher education by building a sharply segmented approach. Her contribution is vital in creating a network of close to 150 Centum Learning Centres in 90 cities across India in just four years to bridge the existing wide talent gap in the Service Sector.
Born and educated in Patna, Ms. Prasad has always envisioned to positively impact the lives of people around her. Her passion to make a difference to the society and nation at large, was vital in organization launching the employability programmes in association with Bharti Wal-Mart Training Centres, the Bharti Academy of Retail and the Yum! Academy.
She after having devoted over a decade as a wife and mother started her corporate career with IT Education giant NIIT. By the dint of her merit and dedication, she was given opportunities to work in all departments and was frequently recognized for her contributions. Thereafter Ms. Prasad moved to NIS Sparta (an ADAG company) and subsequently to Centum Learning Ltd.
Ms. Prasad is also a proud recipient of the Women Leaders Award in India 2010 awarded by iGroup and NDTV Profit in the category of Leading Woman Chief Operating Officer.
Ms. Prasad is a certified facilitator for the Phil Crosby Quality Systems & Methodology. She is also a certified trainer for Quality Improvement Project Management (QIPM) and a certified Quality Systems Auditor [ISO 9000] from Confederation of Indian Industries (CII).
An Arts graduate Ms. Prasad also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Systems Management. The passion for traveling has taken her across the world. She is a voracious reader and has received formal training in various classical dance forms and is a Nritya Visharad in Bharat Natyam.
