Mr. Amit Gupta is the CEO of the largest academic Indian Publishing Group, S Chand, and Founder Director of S Chand Harcourt (India) Pvt Ltd. Mr. Gupta is also the Director and Secretary of Global Knowledge Network Society and the Chairman of Education Committee of PHD Chamber & member management Committee of ASSOCHAM.

A Mechanical Engineer by qualification with specialisation in Operations Management from Japan, Mr. Gupta has participated in several international programmes on Operation Management, Total Quality Control, Project and Process Management, Organisational Strategy and Management Excellence .

Mr. Gupta has 30+ years of experience in top Indian and international groups. He has been playing an active role in the Education and Training industry for last 10 years and has been instrumental in bringing simulation based Technical Training for Vocational Education. His IT Training solutions were show cased in first World Information Technology Summit in Geneva by Microsoft and was awarded best IT Training solution in Egypt, and Middle East, Africa & Eastern Europe. Mr. Gupta also has been a Master trainer for IFC business edge programs.
