Mr. Ashok Kumar is the Chief Executive Officer of Indian High School Group and Principal of The Indian High School, Dubai. An experienced and eminent educationist, Mr. Kumar is an able administrator and has held several leadership positions, including Chairman, Council of CBSE Affiliated Schools in the Gulf.

Under his leadership, the IHS became the first school in the region to receive ISO 9001:2008 certification for Quality Management Systems for the provision of “Education with an International Outlook”. He led the school to an “Outstanding” rating by the KHDA in the Dubai Schools Inspections Bureau (DSIB) 2011-2012 school inspection cycle.

Mr. Kumar has won several awards, including the Best Principal Award in 2001 and National Award for Best Principal given by the President of India in a special ceremony on Teachers Day in 2002.
