Prof (Dr.) H S Srivastava is the Former Dean of NCERT. Working in the areas of Curriculum, Evaluation and Talent Search, as the Head of Department and Dean at NCERT, he has made valuable contribution both nationally and internationally.

He has been a UNESCO consultant at IIEP, Paris, and at UIE, Hamburg, and a professor at IDS, Brighton, and University of Shanghai, Shanghai. Having been the Founder Head of the Research Development and Consultancy Division of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination and Advisor to the International Cell of the Central Board of Secondary Education, he is intimately acquainted with both the systems as also with the institutions affiliated to other Boards of School Education in India.

Dr. Srivastava is the author of numerous books and monographs.
He has also been honoured by the Government of France with the title of ‘Chevalier davs l’Ordre des Palmes Academiques’.
