Mr. Ian Gordon is a specialist Vocational Education and Training (VET) practitioner and Senior Manager in Education, Queensland. He has spent the last 15 years in the Australian VET sector, holding positions from Teacher to Departmental Director in the area of Quality Compliance for VET Delivery and Assessment for Queensland.

Having achieved a range of Post Graduate teaching qualifications in conjunction with years of hands-on experience gained in the Australian VET sector, Gordon’s lends his expertise to specialist fields like curriculum design, development of skills training packages, development of effective learning and assessment instruments, and quality assurance of teaching and learning products.

Gordon’s work for the Department of Education focuses on the development and provision of effective “online” school VET educational products, which support the industry needs by providing VET skills training, resulting in job ready outcomes for students.
