Dr. J D Singh is the Director-General of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida. A PhD from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, Dr. Singh is a UNDP Research Fellow in International Management Education, USA, and a short-term research fellow at Manchester Business School, UK. He is also the Summer Visiting Professor at McGill and Windsor Universities, Canada.

Dr. Singh has over three decades of experience of teaching various marketing courses to MBA students at premier B-schools of India. He has developed, organised and conducted over 300 short-term executive training and development programmes focusing on various aspects of marketing for middle/senior level managers. He has also conducted diagnostic studies and state-of-the-art market surveys in the field of marketing/international marketing.

Dr. Singh has served as a non-executive Corporate Director with an Indian international company, besides being a member of Board of Governors of B-Schools and the Academic Council.
