Mr. Salil Pande is the founder of VMock, which helps job seekers learn from career stories of successful professionals and practice their own pitch with mentors in their social network and/or with HR professionals. Mr. Pande is an undergraduate from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Upon graduation, he spent several years in the Middle East and Europe, working as an offshore Oil and Gas Field Engineer for companies like Schlumberger, McDermott and ADNOC. In 1995, He decided to pursue a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, where he graduated at the top of his class with a 4.0 GPA and was invited to be a member of Phi Kappa Phi honour society. In 1998, he received merit scholarship to pursue his MBA from the University of Chicago (Chicago Booth), where he graduated with a dean’s honour.
